New and improved: Forage Hill Café under new ownership

Forage Hill Café, a small gem tucked away at 87a McLaughlins Road, is under new ownership. The new owners Ay Gnin and Ayhou Ing are excited to bring fresh ideas to the table while maintaining the original look and feel of Forage Hill Café.

“We’ve made a lot of changes to the menu – we have hot takeaway food such as pies, quiches and fried rice, along with takeaway sushi, bao buns sandwiches and wraps. We understand it’s important to have grab and go meal options for those on the run” explains Ayhou.

“We still have plenty of options to sit down and enjoy breakfast or lunch, or come in for a sweet treat and hot drink. We have made the change to Orb espresso coffee beans which we know people will enjoy.”

Originally from Cambodia, Ay Gnin and Ayhou have over 15 years of experience running cafes and bakeries in Takanini and Penrose.

“I love serving customers and take pride in the food we make. We make all our own food, with loads of café-style food and Asian options available.”

“We also have a catering menu, with delivery within the Wiri district. If there’s something not on the catering menu – we’re happy to help find an option to suit” says Ayhou.

New menu, new coffee, new staff, new ownership – it’s well worth popping into checking out the new and improved Forage Hill Café.
