Empowering Futures in Wiri: Stockwells leads Youth Employment Event

On November 4th, Stockwells’ training team led an inspiring day for school leavers from Manurewa High School, offering a behind-the-scenes look into five dynamic Wiri-based businesses: Industrial Air Systems, R & J Batteries, Jarvis Trading, Mac Valves, and Kev & Ian’s Marine.

This experience gave students a real-world glimpse into the skills and attitudes that employers value – from workplace expectations and teamwork to communication and professionalism. Hearing directly from business owners and managers, students gained practical insights into what it takes not just to get a job, but to thrive in one.
